Training of Staff - Training will be offered covering job specific tasks as required of a Driver, Driver/Carer or Escort.
The training will be provided by Puwertec’s OEM certified trainer covering,

	Legal obligations
	Codes of practice
	Correct application of wheelchair and passenger restraint systems
	Inappropriate bodily contact
	Staff safety
	Service user safety/comfort
	Equipment specifications and limitations
	Safe Systems of Work Recommendations
	Manual handling techniques
	Prior to use equipment checks
	Storage of equipment
	Passenger lift safety
	Advice and support

Training may be carried out on site, Puwertec strive to achieve flexibility in terms of training so as to minimize the effect of service provision.
