2. Equipment Inspection and Service

Equipment inspected for excessive wear
Equipment inspected for missing or damaged components

3. Actions
Record all details of audit and actions taken
Clean and lubricate equipment as required
Carry out minor on-site repair/replacement where possible
Remove and label equipment found to be damaged and beyond repair

4. Certificate/Report
A comprehensive report will be provided to the customer for each vehicle separately, detailing equipment inspected and confirming the serviceability of the equipment and the identity of faulty equipment removed from vehicle(s).
Information and advice will be provided as to the appropriate wheelchair and passenger restraint required where incorrect usage is identified.
Dates of Previous, Current and Next inspection as appropriate.
Information contained in the report may be shared with the manufacturer where appropriate advice regarding equipment inspected may be provided as necessary.

5. Specialist Advice
Where equipment is identified as inappropriate, information and advice will be provided with regard to the necessary equipment required.
